The 3rd Lishu Institute Retreat

Save the dates! Lishu Institute is delighted to announce the 3rd international Lishu retreat, from Oct. 13 through Nov. 9, 2012. You are invited to join us for one month of study and practice at Lishu Institute near Dehradun, India. His Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Nyima Rinpoche, spiritual head of the Tibetan Bon Buddhist tradition; Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, spiritual director of Ligmincha Institute; and other respected Bon teachers will be among those officiating. This retreat is open to both beginners and experienced students.

• Oct. 13 to Oct. 27: Study and practice of "The Six Lokas"
• Oct. 28 to Nov.  9: Study and practice of "Phowa"

• His Holiness will visit and confer the Sherap Chamma initiation,
dates to be announced.

• Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche will join the retreat
from Oct. 31 through Nov. 7.

Location: Lishu Institute, Kotra Kalyanpur, P.O. Horrawala, Tehsil Vikas Nagar, District of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India 248197

Registration fee: US $900

Accommodations:
• On-site housing will be available for up to 30 students in the new building at
Lishu Institute, for a fee of US $300 per person
• Camping sites on the Lishu land will also be available for US $100 per person;
(please bring your own camping gear)
• Local hotels and “home stays” are also available; details to come.

Cancellation fee: $500

Transportation: All students are responsible for their own transportation to India. For a fee, Lishu Institute will arrange for one-time bus transportation from New Delhi to Lishu Institute and, at the close of the retreat, a one-time return bus trip from Lishu to New Delhi.

Health insurance: All participants will be responsible for obtaining their own international health insurance coverage. Proof of coverage must be provided before registration can be confirmed.
